dreaming of being a yoga teacher, helping others?
yoga island has over 100 graduates to date!
The yoga island Vinyasa Teacher Training Program gives a student a safe and thorough training in many of the deeper practices of Vinyasa yoga, not just in Asana. We will learn breathing and meditation practices, and also explore the philosophical and historical views underlying yoga practice. This broad-based teacher training program reveals both Yoga’s ancient roots, and its modern applications. Yoga island’s 200-hour Vinyasa Teacher Training program consists of 9 modules. Each module is 20 hours long. 18 hours of each module are in-class instruction and 2 hours of each module are independent guided study. The modules begin with a basic introduction to standard yoga techniques, and progress through an integration and application of yoga methods. Yoga island Teacher Training classes are offered on the weekends, allowing students to accommodate career and family needs. Our program encourages each potential teacher to explore the different paths, while growing into a well-rounded and highly qualified yoga instructor. Our program is 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Registered. Yoga Alliance is the organization that controls the guidelines for teaching. This program follows all of those guidelines and will provide Yoga Alliance Registration to every student who passes when completed.
If interested please join us July 30th for a Red neck(western music to our yinyang) yoga class at 4:30 and stay for Veggie Fajitas and visiting with present and past yoga island grads.
